Also called: signature resizer, sign resize 10 to 20 KB.

Resize and compress a signature image for online application forms.

Signature resized for online forms

Exam and job portals ask candidates to upload a scanned signature in a fixed size, for example about 140 × 60 pixels and between 10 and 20 KB for many SSC and banking forms. A photo of your signature from a phone is usually far too large and in the wrong shape. This tool turns it into a clean JPG with the exact pixels and KB the form needs, in one step, on your phone or computer.

Signature resize 10 to 20 KB

Choose your exam from the preset list, and the width, height and KB limit are filled in for you. If your exam is not listed, type the numbers from the notice yourself. PDFPixo fills that shape from the centre of your picture without stretching the signature, trimming a little from the edges if the shapes differ, and compresses the file so it stays under the KB limit while the ink stays sharp.

How to take a good signature photo

Sign on plain white paper with a black or dark blue pen, pressing firmly so the line is bold. Take the photo in daylight, holding the phone straight above the paper so there is no shadow of your hand or phone. Leave a little space around the signature. Crop the photo roughly around the signature before uploading it here, so the tool does not have to include the whole page.

Getting the shape right

Signature boxes are wide and short, for example 140 × 60 pixels. Because the tool fills the box from the centre, crop your photo so the signature sits in the middle with a small, even margin and roughly the same wide shape. Then nothing important is trimmed. A plain white page in good daylight looks closest to a real scan; if the paper looks grey, take the photo again near a window.

Check the notice

Different exams and even different posts in the same year can ask for different signature sizes, and some ask for the signature in running handwriting rather than capital letters. Always read the current notice and compare the downloaded file size and dimensions before submitting.

Useful for many forms

Besides exams, the same tool works for job portals, university admissions, scholarship forms, bank account opening, PAN and passport applications that ask for a scanned signature. Each portal states its own width, height and KB range on the upload page; type those numbers into the fields and the result will match. Keep the original photo of your signature, so you can make a new size later for another form in a few seconds.

Private by design

Your signature is processed only inside your browser and is never uploaded or stored anywhere, which matters because a signature is personal. There is no sign-up and no watermark.
