PowerPoint to PDF

Save a PowerPoint (PPTX) presentation as a PDF.

Turn a .pptx presentation into a PDF with one page for each slide. Text, shapes, pictures and simple tables are drawn; charts, videos and animations are not.

Turn a PowerPoint into a PDF

This tool converts a PowerPoint presentation in .pptx format into a PDF without Microsoft PowerPoint. Every slide becomes one page. A PDF opens on every phone and computer and looks the same everywhere, so it is the easiest way to share a presentation, print handouts or submit a project.

What is drawn

Text boxes, shapes, pictures and simple tables are drawn on each slide, with their positions, colours and text sizes taken from the slide, its layout and its master. Up to 300 slides can be converted in one file.

What is not drawn

Charts, videos, sound, animations, transitions, shadows and special effects are not drawn. Fonts are replaced with similar fonts available in your browser, so text may look slightly different. The text in the PDF is part of a picture and cannot be selected or searched. Always check each slide in the PDF before sharing.

If something is missing

If a slide has a chart, take a screenshot of the chart in PowerPoint or Google Slides and paste it into the slide as a picture before converting; pictures are drawn correctly. For the best text quality and selectable text, save as PDF directly from PowerPoint, WPS Office or Google Slides when you have those apps.

Old .ppt files

Only the newer .pptx format is supported. Open an old .ppt file in PowerPoint, WPS Office or Google Slides and save or download it as .pptx first.

After converting

Presentations with many photos can make a large PDF. If you need to email or upload it, use the PDF compressor. To share slides as separate pictures, use the PDF to JPG tool on the result.

Common uses

Students submit project presentations as PDF, teachers share lesson slides with a class, business owners send product presentations to customers, and speakers print handouts for a seminar.

Tips for best results

Use common fonts, keep important text in normal text boxes rather than inside pictures or SmartArt, and turn charts into pictures before converting. Check that the slides are in the order you want in PowerPoint, because the PDF follows the same order. Hidden slides are best deleted before converting so they do not appear by mistake.

Speaker notes

Only the slides themselves are converted. Speaker notes are not added to the PDF.

Before you share

Scroll through every page of the PDF. Look for text that moved, a chart that is missing, or a slide that came out blank, and fix that slide in PowerPoint before converting again. Keep the .pptx file for later edits.

Private by design

Your file is processed inside your own browser. It is never uploaded to a server, and nothing is kept after you close the page. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit.

  1. Choose the presentation Pick a .pptx file.
  2. Convert Each slide becomes one PDF page.
