Photo grid

Arrange several images on one clean page.

Arrange several photos neatly on one page, ready to share or print.

Put many photos into one picture

This tool arranges several photos in a neat grid and saves them as one picture. It is a quick way to share many moments in a single post, show a product from several angles, make a before-and-after comparison, or prepare a photo board for a function, a school project or a shop display.

How the grid is made

Choose how many columns you want, from 1 to 10, and the rows are worked out automatically. Every photo gets a square box of the same size, and each photo fills its box, so a little of the edges may be trimmed from tall or wide photos. The spacing setting, from 0 to 100 pixels, puts a white gap between the photos and around the edge.

How many photos

You can add up to 64 photos in one collage. Photos appear in the order you add them, from left to right and then top to bottom, so add them in the order you want them to appear.

Size of the result

The collage is kept under a safe size so it opens on every phone, including iPhones. With many photos, each box becomes smaller. If you need a larger print, use fewer photos per collage. Choose JPG for a small file to share, or PNG for the best quality.

Collage, stitch or PDF?

A collage puts photos in a grid of equal squares. To join photos in one long row or column without cutting them, use the join photos tool. To keep each photo as a separate page, use the JPG to PDF tool.

Common uses

Share a birthday or wedding in one image, make a product grid for an online shop, show the steps of a recipe or craft, compare photos taken before and after work, or make a class photo board.

Tips for a nice collage

Use photos with similar light and colours so the collage looks even. Put the main subject of each photo near the centre, because the edges of tall or wide photos may be trimmed to fit the square boxes. For Instagram, a grid of 3 columns with 9 photos makes a neat square image. A spacing of 8 to 16 pixels gives a clean, modern look.

An example

For a product grid, add six photos, set 3 columns and a spacing of 12. You get two rows of three square photos with white gaps, ready to post.

Background colour

The gaps and the outer border of the collage are white, which looks clean on every app and prints well. Set spacing to 0 if you want the photos to touch with no white lines at all.
